Beep!!!!!

Beep …..beep-beep

Another morning….

Sound of my mobile, alarming me that it was time to get up.

(Goes inside the bath room)

Moment I entered, another beep, the heater started……

Came out after completing morning rituals with a half opened eye, again a beep, heater switching off.

Opened my doors to see what’s the temperature outside Beep-beep, the security system clicked in, another beep in while I closed it.

Went in, poured milk and kept in microwave, again after 30 seconds..Beep beep beep, milk is ready.

Went on with the day until I got into the MARTA (Public Transport) again the bus door opened with a Beep.

I showed my card over the reading machine, another beep.

Until I reach the station, it was all beep-beep of people getting in / out and showing there card to card reader. So more beeps

Went to the MARTA station. The card reader again beeped.

The train arrived and doors opened with another beep.

Each station had 6 x 4 total 24 beeps from my compartment itself. 6 doors opened and closed at each station!

Came out, walked to my office, the entrance had a card reader, again a beep.

Took the lift, it opened with a beep, stopped with another and again closed with another beep. For each floor it stopped, beeped at least thrice until I reached 23rd floor.

Went to the cafeteria, the machine required coins, I put them in, and drink is out, again with a beep…

I went to my cubicle, switched on the PC, it started giving beeps .
Then a series of beeps and buzzes from my out look. I was busy searching for mute button my pc. I realized one thing, you cannot mute/ un-mute a laptop (HP) if the logged in account is locked.

Was thinking about how many beeps we pass by everyday which requires our attention and how much attention each beep get ….. from us
