I woke up to a surprise news today! I never thought it would be a surprise.Initially a surprise which didn’t had much effect on me. News, which does not make any effect on you at first while you read it, but makes a deep impression when the thought sinks in. On time you will realize that, it was a very big news and it is really going down the layers of you mind. Making a deep scar, hurting through your heart like an anchor of a ship tearing through the turf of a muddy bottom. One start thinking about why this came as a surprise to you? Then will sort out innumerable reasons for that, but still cannot digest it completely.
I think the expectation plays a big role on surprises. The more you expect, be ready for more surprises. When I say surprises, more of disappointments …. We expect some one to be close or even to consider yourself more than an acquaintance and realizing that it was far too long than what you expected. In this fast world where it is difficult to separate acquaintance, colleagues and friends, we have to be careful on how we make circles. Most of the ones we expect to 'be' turns out to be a passing fantasy rather than a gem of heart. The realization comes hard on one when we choose not to learn from past experiences
I really know that this doesn’t make any sense to any one who reads it but still I am posting this :D. Time roles off and roads diverges, many a times I stand on the verge of a diversion thinking of a glance back with a smile…a little too much to expect… never served, many a times!
